What Is a
Victorian Scrap? What Can I Do With Them ?
- A Victorian
Scrap is a small paper image printed lithographical, die cut and
embossed. They were very popular during the 1800's.
Traditionally used in a wide variety of items: On scrapbooks,
calling cards, food wrappers, autograph books, greeting cards
especially valentines. In Germany they even applied them to
cakes, pastries and biscuits.
- Our scraps are
photolithographs.
Our customers are using scraps for decoupage, tag art, altered
books, Christmas cards and ornaments, other greeting cards, baby
announcements, even framing scraps to display as pictures; and
of course there is always scrapbooking !
